Hybrid cars start to look normal

With the latest Hybrid car release by Toyota, it’s nice to at last see a Hybrid vehicle that actually looks like a regular designed car. With the new Toyota Auris Hybrid its good as it started life as a non hybrid vehicle.

As the technology gets better, where seeing almost all the major car makers looking at releasing Hybrid cars and it’s good to see their planning to make hybrid versions of existing models. There are even super car makers creating Hybrid versions of their cars.

Below I’ve done a list of hybrid cars I’m looking forward to seeing on road.

VW Golf and the VW Toureg will be released in TDI Hybrid models, which would not only make them great on fuel because their Diesel vehicles, but also hybrid. This is also the case for the Citroen DS5 which should be coming out soon.

Next there’s the Mercedes ML Hybrid, which is yet another jeep along with the BMW X5, BMW X6 Porsche Cayenne and Audi Q7 all of which are meant to be having a innocent hybrid twin of them being made in the near future.

Then there are the small hybrid cars, which I think will do really well. These will be popular with city drivers. There’s the Vauxhall Corsa Hybrid in the pipeline, as well as the Suzuki Swift Hybrid and the Audi A1 Hybrid.

With these entire new hybrid engine’s we’ll have a cleaner world and a need for new type of parts. I’m sure these will be available online, as you can now buy genuine car parts online from website like Essex Auto Parts.

Brown is the new Black

The last couple of years saw a rise in cars being released in white. It’s a cool colour but it’s starting to get boring. So it’s good news to see that 2010 seems to be bringing new hues into the market; the most popular seems to be shades of Brown. Locomotive Themed Indian Takeaway in Basildon

As usual I was feeling hungry and seeing as it was a Friday night I decided to pick up the stash of takeaway menus that have nested on my doormat. I casually went through the pile looking for something that caught my eye and I came across a rather adventurous looking Indian takeaway menu.   It was from an Indian Takeaway in Basildon called the Maharaja’s Express Indian Takeaway. The menu design was themed in an Indian locomotive style, similar to the actual Maharajas Express train in India. Once I opened the menu, I was welcomed by the fact that I wasn’t bombarded with a gazillion dishes to choose from, and I was equally impressed by the design inside and the fact that the curry’s where not just named by their usual names, but had the location of where the curry came from.   Excited by the sounds of a British Tikka Masala, I hurried along to grab my mobile and make an order.   The lad that answered took my order in a very express fashion and my foo...

Mmmm Maybach Coupe

I’ve always seen the Maybach as an over-rated Mercedes. Even with its amazing luxury interior, modern technology and such extras as the assist button which can be used at anytime to get help finding the closest Italian Restaurant or whatever you may be looking for. I prefer the Bentley Arnage or Rolls Royce Phantom when it comes to looks. But these are cars you don’t buy to drive; you buy them to get driven around in. Personally I’d rather be in the driver’s seat and definitely not to drive someone around, I don’t think they’ll enjoy the luxuries at the speeds I plan to drive. This brings me to the new Maybach Coupe. At first glance I thought wow; this is the most attractive Maybach I’ve ever seen.
