Hybrid cars start to look normal

With the latest Hybrid car release by Toyota, it’s nice to at last see a Hybrid vehicle that actually looks like a regular designed car. With the new Toyota Auris Hybrid its good as it started life as a non hybrid vehicle.

As the technology gets better, where seeing almost all the major car makers looking at releasing Hybrid cars and it’s good to see their planning to make hybrid versions of existing models. There are even super car makers creating Hybrid versions of their cars.

Below I’ve done a list of hybrid cars I’m looking forward to seeing on road.

VW Golf and the VW Toureg will be released in TDI Hybrid models, which would not only make them great on fuel because their Diesel vehicles, but also hybrid. This is also the case for the Citroen DS5 which should be coming out soon.

Next there’s the Mercedes ML Hybrid, which is yet another jeep along with the BMW X5, BMW X6 Porsche Cayenne and Audi Q7 all of which are meant to be having a innocent hybrid twin of them being made in the near future.

Then there are the small hybrid cars, which I think will do really well. These will be popular with city drivers. There’s the Vauxhall Corsa Hybrid in the pipeline, as well as the Suzuki Swift Hybrid and the Audi A1 Hybrid.

With these entire new hybrid engine’s we’ll have a cleaner world and a need for new type of parts. I’m sure these will be available online, as you can now buy genuine car parts online from website like Essex Auto Parts.

Brown is the new Black

The last couple of years saw a rise in cars being released in white. It’s a cool colour but it’s starting to get boring. So it’s good news to see that 2010 seems to be bringing new hues into the market; the most popular seems to be shades of Brown. As always fashion trends always go full circle, so seeing brown cars reminds me of my dad’s car back when I was just 8 years old, he use to drive a chocolate brown Ford Escort. As I got older I remember joy riding around in a brown Mini Metro, luckily I never got caught. The first brown car I saw was the Audi R8 Spyder, which looked amazing. As more cars got released with the new 10 registration plate it seems it’s the new trend and Brown has become the new black. I had Abarth

Lucky me got to drive an Abarth 500 through the weekend, after dreaming over it for months since it came out. In the time I waited and read the many reviews online, I got more and more excited and began planning how to get my hands on one. I couldn’t afford to just buy one and neither did I want to just test drive for a few hours. So my best bet was to wait until a rental company had it available on their fleet.
