Must do excursions in the UK

Paintballing is one of my favourite excursions; it’s exciting every time I go. It’s a painful activity, but it has a lot of team building activity spirit in it, you have to work together and be tactical. I get a proper buzz off the hype of running around and shooting my friends.

It’s also cool to share each other’s bruises after and you get some unforgettable stories to tell in the future. The best paintballing centres are the ones that are based outside, like Delta Force in Essex. I’ve been to one in-door centre in London Docklands, which was really good and for some reason it felt more painful.

My next choice would be Jet Skiing. It isn’t something you think of doing the UK, as the weathers not the great and the waters cold. But there are centres in the UK where you can go and Jet Ski and it’s an awesome experience. The cold water seems to add another element of excitement to the whole excursion.

This is one for the speed junkies out there and you have to be willing to get messy. Rage Buggy racing is adrenalin pumping fun; you will drift through mud and water, and then get covered in the stuff! You get to race into ditches and over ramps, which bounce the buggy off all fours and into the air. It’s a truly messy mad driving adventure.

Fast, furious and adrenalin filled. Zap Cat is almost like the street racing of the sea. You’re kitted up in wet suits and helmets, then placed in what essentially is an inflatable dingy, that is strapped with a super boat engine. You then pair up and race through the sea at high speeds and each time you throttle forward the boat front lifts to almost a 45 degree angle.

Lastly I think everyone should have a go at White Water rafting. It’s a total rush that challenges you physically and mentally. It will make you battle with any fear of heights or water you may have. It’s a team effort to battle through the rough waters. White water rafting tests your strengths in many ways but most importantly its fun and you’ll always cherish such an experience.

Brown is the new Black

The last couple of years saw a rise in cars being released in white. It’s a cool colour but it’s starting to get boring. So it’s good news to see that 2010 seems to be bringing new hues into the market; the most popular seems to be shades of Brown. As always fashion trends always go full circle, so seeing brown cars reminds me of my dad’s car back when I was just 8 years old, he use to drive a chocolate brown Ford Escort. As I got older I remember joy riding around in a brown Mini Metro, luckily I never got caught. The first brown car I saw was the Audi R8 Spyder, which looked amazing. As more cars got released with the new 10 registration plate it seems it’s the new trend and Brown has become the new black. My favourite new car in brown is the Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet, followed closely by the Audi R8 Spyder. I’ve even seen an Audi A3 in a really dark brown colour which I loved. The most affordable brown car I would go for would be the Citroen DS3; I should p...

Not all Online Sign Language Courses are equal

On my mission to learn Sign Language in 2021, I did what most people would do and went to Google and searched “learn sign language”. A few places popped up and I realised as I’m the UK, I needed to be a little bit more specific, as in the UK it’s called British Sign Language or BSL. So, I went on to search “Learn British Sign Language online”. I’m no stranger to Google search engine results being a mixture of paid ad listing and listings that naturally pop up on the first page due to their ranking by Google. I wanted a good deal, so I clicked on some of the paid ads which pop up right at the top and here’s where my confusions began. I found website that offered BSL courses which seemed like a bargain, I could apparently sign up online and learn BSL Level 1 and BSL Level 2 and get certified at an 89% discounted price of just £14.00 – This was “a deal not to miss” I thought. But my gut was saying “you get what you pay for”. So, I investigated further to find out what I’m getti...

Kent Zoo, Best Tourism Experience in England

I’ve never bothered going to London Zoo, as I don’t like the idea of going to see animals from the wild in middle of a concrete city. My first ever trip to the Zoo was a drive up North, to one of London Zoo’s partners, Whipsnade Zoo which is near Luton. Even though it was a little less city like, I absolutely loved my time there and since have been planning to go back. Until now...I recently discovered Port Lympne, which is a Kent Zoo that’s actually closer to London then Luton and it’s based in the Garden of England, Kent! Port Lympne is more of a Wild Life Park in Kent and has a wonderful mixture of animals from all over the world. The park is run by the Aspinall Foundation a charity which does a wonderful job of looking after endangered species such as the Bengal Tiger and Black Rhino . There’s animal there I’ve never even heard of, which makes it more exciting to go visit this brilliant wild life park. Recently Port Lympne has been voted England’s best touri...
