Return of the DS


I never realised that the Citroen I use to call upside down boat was called the Citroen DS, I also didn’t realise how popular the car was in its time. So recently when I saw the launch of Citroens new DS models I understood why this new car was such a funky design, it had to live up to its ancestors.

The old Citroen DS’s design was pretty bold and it took me a long time to accept how unique and cool this car actually is. For the time it was built it was an extremely luxury vehicle and technology wise it was up there with its innovative hydro pneumatic self-levelling suspension. The design was also a little outrageous, but these were the reasons for making this car such an icon.

was kind of put off by its design, I thought it looked a little over the top. But now that I’ve seen how much this car can be customised, I’m actually impressed by its uniqueness and learning about its ancestral roots I understand the thinking behind this rather unique car.

Citroen will apparently be releasing another 2 models under the DS logo. First there’s the Citroen DS4 which will be a 2 door SUV Cross-over, which is exciting stuff. Even more exciting is the Citroen DS5 which will be a large family sized car and the best bit is, it will be a diesel hybrid car.

So it’s good news to see that 2010 seems to be bringing new hues into the market; the most popular seems to be shades of Brown. Not all Online Sign Language Courses are equal

On my mission to learn Sign Language in 2021, I did what most people would do and went to Google and searched “learn sign language”. A few places popped up and I realised as I’m the UK, I needed to be a little bit more specific, as in the UK it’s called British Sign Language or BSL. So, I went on to search “Learn British Sign Language online”. I’m no stranger to Google search engine results being a mixture of paid ad listing and listings that naturally pop up on the first page due to their ranking by Google. I wanted a good deal, so I clicked on some of the paid ads which pop up right at the top and here’s where my confusions began. I found website that offered BSL courses which seemed like a bargain, I could apparently sign up online and learn BSL Level 1 and BSL Level 2 and get certified at an 89% discounted price of just £14.00 – This was “a deal not to miss” I thought. Kent Zoo, Best Tourism Experience in England

I’ve never bothered going to London Zoo, as I don’t like the idea of going to see animals from the wild in middle of a concrete city. My first ever trip to the Zoo was a drive up North, to one of London Zoo’s partners, Whipsnade Zoo which is near Luton. Even though it was a little less city like, I absolutely loved my time there and since have been planning to go back. Until now...I recently discovered Port Lympne, which is a Kent Zoo that’s actually closer to London then Luton and it’s based in the Garden of England, Kent! Port Lympne is more of a Wild Life Park in Kent and has a wonderful mixture of animals from all over the world. The park is run by the Aspinall Foundation a charity which does a wonderful job of looking after endangered species such as the Bengal Tiger and Black Rhino .
